The story
Empowering women and inspiring leadership
In 2024, I joined Christian women leaders in Malaysia for a gathering focused on recognizing our God-given calling and using our influence to strengthen our communities. This Asian Evangelical Alliance Women's Commission gathering formed part of my continuing involvement in women's leadership across Asia.
The World Evangelical Alliance's account describes the Kuala Lumpur gathering as a place for women to explore their voices through storytelling, biblical reflection, and shared learning. Its focus on identity and purpose placed women's leadership within the wider life of faith and service.
Worship, devotionals, and contributions from leaders across Asia created space for fellowship across different cultural contexts. These conversations connected the development of individual gifts with the encouragement and care that women can offer one another.
My participation belongs within a continuing commitment to encouraging women to recognize their potential and serve with courage, humility, and integrity. Equipping women for leadership means valuing both their voices and the communities in which they use them.
